The Experience of Microteaching📙👩‍🏫

  Microteaching is a teacher training technique for learning teaching skills. It is a technique whereby a prospective teacher teaches a small unit to a small group of 5 to 10 students, usually peer group, in a short period of 5 to 10 minutes. Microteaching focusses on only one teaching skill at a time. Microteaching is an important aspect in any teacher training courses. As per our B.Ed. curriculum, each student teacher must master any two core teaching skills.  The two skills alloted to me were Skill of reinforcement and Skill of using blackboard . We took the sessions on 4th of April, 2024.  The skill of reinforcement focussed on giving positive verbal and non verbal cues inorder to motivate the students. I tried to use positive verbal cues like 'good' , 'excellent', 'well-explained', 'try to remember' etc motivated the students.
