Video Script - 'Horegallu'

As part of B.Ed. curriculum, a video script is prescribed for the student teachers. Preparing a script enables us to communicate the message in a crisp and clear way. Script is considered the skeleton of any video. A script allows to plan and design the overall structure of the educational video. For this process, our teacher educator divided the students into two groups.

Our group consisted of 7 members and we decided to adopt the short story 'Horegallu' written by Sudha Murty. The first step was to decide the location and the scenes we could do within our limitations. We planned a proper framework and moved on to the script work. We assigned roles to each one and made the list of costumes and properties needed for the same. The whole shooting was shot using an iphone. The script consisted of 3 scenes.

Altogether, the experience of script writing and shooting provided us with new insights, knowledge and experiments and also the editing process made us more aware of the technological side. The video extends for 10 minutes and all the members of the team cooperated well and put their maximum effort into this new attempt.
