Cognitive Map

 A cognitive map is a visual tool used to organize and represent knowledge. It involves connecting concepts with labelled links that illustrate the relationship between them. It is mainly used in education, research and problem solving because they help simplify complex ideas. 

The several uses of concept maps include to teach or summarize a topic, to generate or organize ideas, problem solving, planning, research.

The units taken for cognitive mapping were Beyond the Horizon and Heights of Harmony. The former unit contains 3 chapters, which includes a poem, travel experience and story. The latter unit contains 3 chapters which includes Q poem, story and one act play. The former unit focusses in travel and different experience it gives. The Heights of Harmony emphasize the relationships, harmony, cooperation, friendship and corrupting power of money.
